The main reason Village is used regularly is because of Homeland Defense, which is incredibly powerful lategame, although it almost costs a whopping $70,000 to get outright. Despite its biggest weaknesses: its cost (most notable for Radar Scanner and MIB) and lack of offense, with almost all upgrades being overpriced for what they do.
